Annual garlic mustard pull at Forest Ridge. Help the Parks Commission members eradicate this invasive species and protect our Park. Bring gloves, sunscreen and hiking boots.
May 14th through May 18th: Chipping Week.
The Service Department Employees will chip branches and sticks on your street. The branches should be cut into four-foot lengths and all sticks and branches must be bundled. Please have the branches stacked by the side of the road by 7:00 a.m. on April 16. The Service Department Employees will chip them over the following week. They cannot chip logs over five inches in diameter.
A Living History Experience
The Moreland Hills Historical Society invites you to join them for a Living History Experience on Saturday, June 2nd, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Garfield Cabin next to Village Hall. President and Mrs. James A. Garfield will be there to share conversation with children and adults. Learn about their history and Moreland Hills. Refreshments will be served. Rain or Shine. Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity will be holding a drive in Solon on June 16th from 9-5pm at the old Community Park. The Habitat ReStore is looking for usable building/renovation materials, electrical and plumbing supplies and fixtures, windows, doors, vanities, kitchen cabinets, sinks, toilets, furniture. These should be items that can be resold at nominal costs to help improve housing in the area. No paint, clothing or bedding, please.
