On Friday August 07, 2009 The Village of Moreland Hills Council appointed Paul J. Stanard as the newest member of Council. Paul and his fiancee Cindy have been residents of Moreland Hills for almost 10 years. They have a blended family of three grown children.

Paul studied at The Ohio State University, majoring in Agricultural Economics. Paul continued his education at Southeastern Mass University in the Construction Law Program. He holds accrediation from OSHA in Construction Safety and Health.

Paul is currently employed as an estimator with the Great Lakes Construction Company, where he is responsible for providing estimates and proposals on bridges, highway replacements and projects that are owned by the Ohio Department of Transportation, the Ohio Turnpike Commission, RTA, and private concerns. In the past he has worked as an inspector for construciton sites, and was the Vice-President/General Manager for Constructions 1 Enterprises, Inc. where he specialized in FAA facility construction. Paul has completed projects at airfields and military facilities in fifteen different states.
